... YES... I BELIEVE that LOVE is TESTED DAILY...

WOW... WHERE has the YEAR GONE to...?
It SEEMED like ONLY YESTERDAY that we were SHARING
the JOY of OPENING CHRISTMAS GIFTS....

And ...
WHAT you MIGHT ask, DOES that HAVE to do
with "TESTING LOVE" ..?

I FEEL that ALL of LIFE is a TEST ...
.. FROM the REASON that YOU WAKE-UP in the morning,
to the REASON that YOU put DOWN your HEAD at NIGHT..!

Your WHOLE LIFE you are TESTED...
FROM the TIME you LEARNED to CRAWL
....... To the DREADED "potty training" ....
(did you LEARN sooner then your brother did at that age ?)
BUT... we all KNOW that you ALL LOVE MoM and DaD...
That is ANOTHER STORY..
and A TUG-A-WAR that you have to DEAL with
...... for the rest of your LIFE..

Then LIFE CONTINUES with it's TESTING...
All THROUGH your SCHOOL YEARS...
And we are NOT just TALKING about your ACADEMIC ABILITIES.
(I.E. : your READING, WRITING or 'RITHMATIC )
but your SOCIAL SKILLS as well ...
with TEACHERS, PARENTS, STUDENTS and then the ULTIMATE...
YES... I'M TALKING about .. STUDENTS of the OPPOSITE SEX....

Those CREATURES that you see DISPLAYED
on your T.V. SHOWS after SCHOOL ...
USUALLY they seem to be RELATIVELY HARMLESS ...
....UNTIL' ....
..your HORMONES KICK in.. and START doing DOUBLE TIME
through your BRAIN... (and your HEART)..

THEN ...
BARBARA EDAN from the "I DREAM of JEANNIE" days makes
your HEART do FLIP-FLOPS everytime you even HEAR the
THEME SONG come on the TELEVISION...

SOON.. you might ACTUALLY have a GIRLFRIEND, or
at least SOMEONE who LIKES you as much as you LIKE them..

NOW.... the FUN BEGINS...

The true DIFFERANCE between FRIENDSHIP and LOVE....
.... seems to ACTUALLY MATTER...
Where do you DRAW the LINE between...

"She's my BEST friend"
....... and .......
"She's the ONE I'd JUMP in front of a TRUCK for".... ???

Hence, .... NOW you are BEING TESTED....

And the TESTING will CONTINUE for the REST of your LIFE...

EVERYTIME ... you look SOMEBODY in the eye
and say those THREE SPECIAL WORDS ...

" You wanna' DANCE..?"
or
" Have a DRINK..?'
or
" DRIVE you HOME..?"
or
" Do you...... WANNA' ?"
or ..
the ones you've been WAITING for..

" I LOVE YOU ! "

YES...I LOVE YOU ....!!!!
FROM that POINT on ..LIFE is ONE BIG TEST...
The BIGGEST TEST you will ever have ...
And the LONGEST TEST that you'll every take...

YES.. We as LOVING CHILDREN and then as LOVING ADULTS
are to be put under the MICROSCOPE of LOVE everyday of our lives...

WHETHER it is a THOUGHT that PASSES through our HEAD,
of SOMETHING that we would LIKE to do...

or the REMNANT of a PLEASANT EVENT that happened to us
YEARS before we took life SERIOUSLY....

Or... a NEW THOUGHT that POPPED into our mind
.... and seemed to LINGER ... uhhh ... a little too long for COMFORT....

COULD it be just the SIMPLE FACT that we care about a FRIEND
that should no longer have that STATUS in our HEARTS...?

LIFE is so FULL of QUESTIONS , that I as a ROCK...
could NEVER even ATTEMPT to ANSWER all of these QUESTIONS...
....... even to my STONE... !

HOW could that be...?
.......... I seem to know ALL about these FEELINGS of LOVE !

WELL....
Sometimes the MORE that you seem to know ABOUT a SUBJECT....
......the TOUGHER it gets to ANSWER the QUESTIONS....
because...
... Now you have TOO MANY CHOICES ....
A) this...
B) that...
C) the other...
or
D) ALL of the ABOVE....

So ..... CHOOSE your ANSWERS CAREFULLY...

........... BECAUSE you are ALWAYS being TESTED...
.......... NEVER GRADED .... but ALWAYS TESTED...

..only YOU ... can GRADE YOURSELF.... !
